Job summary

Everstory Partners seeks a Sales Counselor in Berkley, MI to help families choose funeral and cemetery services with compassionate guidance. You will build pipelines from inbound leads, referrals, and outreach, and manage customer activity in HubSpot.

The role combines consultative B2C sales, relationship building, and business development, with uncapped commissions or a guaranteed minimum hourly rate. A paid probationary period applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of sales experience in B2C or relationship-based roles preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline through inbound leads, walk-ins, referrals, prospecting, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-in opportunities; conduct follow-ups with prospective customers.
• Guide families through purchasing decisions and complete required sales contracts and documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, customer relationships, appointments, and follow-ups throughout the sales process.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families; participate in community events and offsite appointments.
