Job summary

Share Our Strength in New York, NY is seeking a Development Coordinator to support fundraising efforts across events, individual giving, and projects. You will work with staff, volunteers, chefs, donors, and prospects to strengthen the program and drive results.

The role requires travel, irregular hours, and proactive communication with volunteers outside regular business hours, reporting to the Director of Development, New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years in non-profit fundraising.
• Experience identifying and targeting fundraising supporters.
• Budgeting experience and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate event logistics, revenues, and post-event reports.
• Engage volunteers, committees and donors in the market.
• Maintain master calendars and fundraising materials deadlines.
• Prepare materials for meetings and donor presentations.
• Draft executive briefings for fundraising activities.
• Maintain donor communications and acknowledge donors and sponsors.
