Association of Fundraising Professionals - NYC Chapter seeks a Development Officer to advance fundraising, donor engagement, and events in a hybrid role in New York. You will manage donor relationships, craft compelling communications, and support ASP's growth through collaboration with national teams.

This position focuses on expanding individual and corporate philanthropy, coordinating campaigns, and maintaining donor data while contributing to a high-impact program serving youth across NYC.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of professional fundraising or related relationship-building experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Strong writing and editing abilities for proposals, reports, and communications.
• Organizational and project-management skills with multiple priorities.
• Commitment to All Stars Project's mission and collaborative culture.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT, AirTable, or similar CRMs is a plus.
• Administrative skills in Word/Excel/PP/Outlook; capable of handling confidential information.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds for event setups.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a donor portfolio with targeted cultivation and stewardship.
• Support annual fundraising campaigns and donor communications.
• Develop corporate proposals and engagement reports for partnerships.
• Plan and execute events and donor engagement activities.
• Maintain accurate donor records and generate fundraising reports.
