Open New York is seeking a Development Coordinator to organize and propel our fundraising operations across 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) entities. You will manage donor records in Salesforce, track grants, and support individual giving, membership, and institutional fundraising, while planning donor events that connect supporters with our mission.

The ideal candidate brings 2–4 years in fundraising, CRM experience (Salesforce a plus), and strong writing and organizational skills to help grow housing

Formación

• 2 to 4 years of experience in fundraising, development operations, grants, or related work.
• Experience working with a CRM; Salesforce experience is a strong plus.
• Close attention to donor information, gifts, and deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple concurrent projects.
• Clear writing with ability to draft donor correspondence and grant writing.
• Comfort with spreadsheets and basic reporting.
• Interest in 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) fundraising rules.

Responsabilidades

• Development Operations: Maintain accurate donor and gift records in Salesforce and process gifts with acknowledgments.
• Institutional Giving: Track grants, deadlines, renewals, and generate reports.
• Individual Giving & Membership: Support donor cultivation, renewals, and communications.
• Donor Events: Plan and run events, manage invitations, RSVPs, and follow-up.
• Support year-end campaigns and grant reporting with data and materials.
