Job summary

All Stars Project of New York is seeking a Development Officer to join our growing development team. This role blends frontline fundraising, donor engagement, events, and development operations to strengthen partnerships and help reach annual fundraising goals.

You will manage a donor portfolio, collaborate with the national team, and support the NY fall benefit. The position is hybrid in New York, with some evenings required for events, and reports to the Assistant Director of Development.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of professional fundraising or relationship-centered experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and the ability to build trust with diverse audiences.
• Strong writing and editing skills; experience with grants/proposals is a plus.
• Proficient organizational and project management skills with multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT, AirTable, Constant Contact or similar CRMs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of ~75–100 donors and prospects, typically giving $50–$2,500.
• Develop engagement strategies to increase donor retention and giving levels.
• Prepare donor briefing materials and meeting summaries.
• Support ASP NY's annual strategy to reach $3.5 million in fundraising.
• Coordinate donor, foundation, corporate partner, trustee, and prospect meetings.
