Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in San Antonio is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan memorable birthday and corporate events. You will partner with Guests to tailor experiences, input guest and sales data, and uphold safety standards while promoting a FUN brand image.

The role requires strong customer service, teamwork, and ability to handle multiple event types; experience in sales or retail is a plus, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Prior food & beverage or retail experience; sales experience a plus.
• Guest-focused mindset.
• Teamwork is a must.
• Relationship building is important.
• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office and CRM.
• Effective communication with management, team members and guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcome and engage with Guests as an ambassador of FUN.
• Understand event packages and add-ons.
• Sell, schedule and coordinate corporate, group and birthday events.
• Input sales revenue and guest information in systems; create follow-up tasks.
• Partner with Sales Manager to exceed targets and quarterly plans.
• Prospect and cold call to develop new and repeat business.
• Support local store marketing initiatives to drive event sales.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and share strategic ideas.
• Perform opening, mid-day or closing duties.
