Job summary

City Year AmeriCorps is seeking an entry-level, full-time Student Success Coach and Mentor to support students in elementary, middle, and/or high school. You will coach and mentor students to academic success, improve attendance, and develop positive behaviors with teachers and school staff.

The role includes training at the start of the year, 1:1 and small-group work, and collaboration with teachers to monitor progress and implement interventions.

Qualifications

• Experience not required; 2–4 weeks of training provided at start of year.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident; Authorization to work in the U.S. required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor individual student progress and support teachers with instruction.
