Job summary

Catholic Charities is seeking a Preferred Communities Programs Case Manager to support refugees during their first 90 days in the United States. The role focuses on intake, assessment, referrals, and connection to community resources to help clients achieve self-sufficiency in PC-PIR and PC-ICM programs.

The position requires an associate degree and 1–3 years in social services, plus bilingual ability, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and/or 1–3 years of relevant social services/nonprofit experience.
• Bilingual in English and another language commonly spoken by refugees.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with good time management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management tools.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and process requests in line with PC-PIR budget.
• Ensure timely, compliant financial assistance processing.
• Coordinate housing, furnishings, and initial client support.
• Welcome refugees on arrival and provide orientation/transportation.
• Deliver resettlement services during the first 90 days in the U.S.
• Complete intakes, eligibility verifications, and initial assessments.
