Job summary

Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate on the finishing/bindery line with a nighttime 7p–7a shift. You’ll receive hands-on training to operate high-speed bindery equipment, pack finished books, and move materials as part of a teamwork-driven production floor.

No bindery experience is required—training is provided. We’re looking for reliable individuals who can read instructions, perform basic math, and work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Basic math skills and ability to use a measuring device.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into the machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Move materials and books safely to the workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products for quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and keep workspace clean and organized.
