Job summary

Sheridan is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for finishing/bindery on the nighttime shift (7p–7a). We train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment; join a team focused on producing books, catalogs and printed materials.

Previous machine experience isn’t required—learn on the job and build a long-term career in print manufacturing. Responsibilities include feeding, packing, moving materials, performing hand operations, and ensuring quality and safety on a fast-paced floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 0–3 months related experience
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Basic math and measuring device use
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented line environment

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into the high-speed bindery machine
• Pack books into cartons for shipment
• Safely move materials and finished books to/from workstation
• Perform hand operations as required
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production goals
• Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
• Follow safety procedures and keep workspace clean and organized
