The Department of Revenue - Lottery Division in Rapid City, SD is hiring a full-time Sales Support staffer to work with retailers and customers locally. Duties include processing claims, selling and cashing tickets, and reconciling the daily cash drawer, with occasional travel for events and promotions.

You will liaison between retailers, players and the SD Lottery, establish new accounts, and maintain existing ones while delivering tickets and supplies and deploying point of sale materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in collaborative team environments with strong time management and organization.
• Valid South Dakota driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must submit to a credit and state/federal background check.
• Good judgment and effective communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work irregular hours for events/promotions.

Responsabilités

• Liaise between retailers, players and the SD Lottery; establish and maintain retailer accounts.
• Process claims, sell and cash tickets, and reconcile the Rapid City daily cash drawer.
• Deliver instant tickets and materials; deploy POS materials and merchandise.
• Occasional travel to work events and promotions; support retailers and customers.
• Monitor retailers weekly to ensure scratch tickets are stocked securely and securely stored.
