Addus HomeCare in Martin, TN is seeking a full-time Home Health Scheduling Specialist to join our patient care team. You will confirm appointments, manage schedules for patients and care providers, and ensure timely reminders and accurate records.

The role requires a high school diploma (college degree a plus), experience in a high-volume medical office, and the ability to work with Spanish-speaking patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree a plus.
• Experience in a high-volume medical office environment required.
• Scheduling patients and patient testing preparation experience preferred.
• 2 years in a medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Confirms patient appointments and performs reminder calls.
• Manages client and care provider schedules efficiently.
• Tracks daily scheduling metrics and shares trends with management.
• Answers calls and provides excellent customer service.
• Maintains patient records in billing/scheduling systems and hard copy as needed.
• Completes patient schedules, forms and all correspondence.
• Provides additional billing and customer service support.
• Maintains confidentiality due to sensitive information access.
• Maintains regular, predictable attendance and flexibility.
