Job summary

Capps Plumbing & Sewer is actively seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to own the recruiting lifecycle from sourcing through onboarding. You will build sourcing strategies, partner with department leaders, and maintain compelling job postings while ensuring candidate experience meets high standards.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, especially in blue-collar industries, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional Talent Acquisition or full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for blue-collar industries (skilled trades, construction, home services, manufacturing) preferred.
• Experience developing sourcing strategies using online job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other channels.
• Proven experience using ATS and recruitment platforms including Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, and similar tools.
• Strong administrative background with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions with high organization and accuracy.
• Experience collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, define candidate profiles, and support decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional candidate engagement throughout hiring process.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment from requisition to onboarding, screening, interviewing, offers, and pre-employment activities.
• Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract high-quality candidates across departments.
• Build partnerships with department leaders to align workforce planning with hiring needs.
• Maintain accurate job postings across platforms and optimize for candidate engagement.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop recruitment campaigns and employer branding on social media.
• Deliver exceptional candidate experience through proactive communication and timely follow-up.
• Coordinate and support onboarding activities for new hires.
• Develop and support employee engagement and retention initiatives to reduce turnover.
• Conduct stay and exit interviews to identify trends and improve processes.
• Coordinate recruiting events, career fairs, and community outreach to strengthen pipeline.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and confidentiality of information.
• Prepare recruiting metrics and updates for leadership to inform decisions.
• Continuously improve recruitment processes and workflows for efficiency.
