Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Electrical seeks a Recruiter to drive the full recruiting lifecycle for the Austin location, partnering with hiring managers to meet ongoing business needs. The role supports the HR team and facilitates HR processes, answering questions and aiding onboarding.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Recruiter, corporate and staffing agency experience a plus.
• Knowledge of Skilled Trades (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical) highly desired.
• Ability to build a candidate pipeline with outbound and inbound sourcing.
• Familiarity with Recruitment Marketing and ATS tools like iCIMS.
• Willingness to work after hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate the entire recruiting lifecycle from sourcing to on-boarding.
• Develop hiring strategies and partner with Hiring Managers.
• Use multi-channel recruiting (job boards, social media, outreach).
• Conduct skills-based and behavior-based interviews.
• Maintain active talent pipelines and write updated job descriptions.
• Coordinate hiring events and contribute to employee orientation.
• Support HR processes and special projects as assigned.
