Job summary

Target is seeking a Fulfillment Operations Team Leader to guide a team of hourly staff in delivering an outstanding guest experience and efficient fulfillment operations. The role emphasizes training, coaching, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety across daily tasks.

You will lead planning and execution of workload, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with leadership to drive store profitability while delivering top-notch customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of hourly staff in a fast-paced retail or fulfillment setting.
• Ability to deliver strong guest experiences and coaching for teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities within a store operations context.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly experience.
• Ensure every team member is trained and delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments.
• Observe and provide feedback, holding team accountable while recognizing great moments.
• Review fulfillment metrics to identify gaps and develop improvement plans.
• Lead your team to achieve fulfillment goals and support sales growth and profitability.
• Utilize workload planning tools to ensure tasks and orders are fulfilled on time.
• Coach onboarding and development, closing training gaps through coaching conversations.
• Ensure safety and food safety guidelines are followed, with proper stock and ordering procedures.
