Job summary

Target is seeking a Fulfillment Operations Team Leader to guide an hourly team in delivering exceptional guest service and efficient operations. You will lead daily fulfillment tasks, ensure safety and accuracy, and drive improvement while maintaining a guest-first culture.

Responsibilities include coaching, planning workload, and ensuring timely order fulfillment and delivery operations. This role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and strong communication in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Lead and hold others accountable.
• Learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create a simple, inspiring, and friendly experience.
• Ensure every team member is trained and delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments.
• Observe and provide feedback, hold team members accountable, and recognize great guest moments.
• Review guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
• Lead and demonstrate a safety culture and food safety guidelines where applicable.
• Support store leadership in onboarding, coaching, and achieving quality and timeliness goals.
• Close training gaps through coaching conversations and develop a guest-centric team.
