Job summary

Gopuff is hiring Operations Associates to join the operations team in Chapel Hill, NC. You will perform pick/pack and receiving duties, manage inventory, and assist with kitchen items where applicable, while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a willingness to work flexible shifts (1st–3rd). Experience in food service or retail is a plus, with proficiency in Google G-Suite for basic tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Ability to work a fluid schedule including peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Basic knowledge of web-based software (Google G-Suite).

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers.
• Receive and unpack pallets; verify inventory vs PO/invoice and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of cancelled orders.
• Clean and organize the facility and sales floor.
• Handle waste and spoilage following FIFO practices.
• Contact customers for substitutions or out-of-stock items.
• Move product using carts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Work in fryer/kitchen areas as applicable and follow safety guidelines.
