Job summary

Gopuff in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking Operations Associates (OAs) to join the operations team. Directly reporting to a Site Leader, OAs perform essential duties including picking, packing, receiving product, and coordinating with driver partners.

The role requires drive, perseverance, and a positive attitude to support a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include inventory management, waste control under FIFO, and ensuring food and beverage items meet recipes and presentation standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience in restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Ability to work a fluid schedule including peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
• Basic knowledge of web-based software applications (e.g. Google G-Suite).
• Stand and walk for the duration of shift.
• Lift up to 49 pounds.
• Flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers.
• Receive and unpack pallets and reconcile inventory with PO/invoice.
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders.
• Clean and organize facility and sales floor.
• Follow FIFO to manage waste and spoilage.
• Contact customers for substitutions or out-of-stock items.
• Operate equipment to move product safely.
• Prepare beverages and food menu items per recipes and standards.
