Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse setting. You will mentor, motivate and develop your team to meet safety, quality and performance goals, with extensive training provided.

This full-time, on-site role covers various facilities in Michigan and beyond, with shifts that may include nights, weekends and holidays. You will focus on people leadership and operational excellence to ensure consistent results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs.
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment (at applicable facilities).
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Climb and descend stairs (when applicable).
