Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager for its on-site fulfillment operations in the United States. You will lead 50–100 hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse setting, focusing on safety, quality and productivity while developing your team.

You will mentor, motivate and manage performance, ensuring tools and training are available for success. Expect shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, with strong emphasis on on-floor leadership and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required; degree earned by Aug 2026
• Strong communication and customer service skills preferred
• Experience or education in supply chain, business/management, or related field beneficial

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 50–100 hourly associates
• Motivate, mentor and manage performance to meet goals
• Oversee operations tasks including safety, quality, attendance and productivity
• Coordinate with site leadership to ensure smooth shift operations
• Manage shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Use pallet jacks and PIT equipment as needed on site
