Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly employees in one of its California fulfillment facilities. This on-site, full-time role emphasizes mentoring, motivation, and developing staff to hit safety, quality and performance targets.

You will oversee 50–100 associates, work a 4-on/3-off pattern at times, and participate in extensive training to become an effective people leader. A related bachelor’s or master’s degree is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience or coursework in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 50–100 direct reports in a warehouse setting.
• Mentor, motivate and develop staff to meet goals.
