Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Wisconsin for a full-time, entry-level leadership role within fulfillment centers or delivery stations. You will lead a team of hourly Associates across our Operations network on-site in a fast-paced environment, focusing on safety, quality, attendance and performance.

You will mentor and develop your team, receive extensive training, and ensure tools and processes are in place to meet goals.

Qualifications

• Basic: A bachelor’s or master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
• Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
• Climb and descend stairs (when applicable)
