Job summary

Amazon is hiring an entry-level Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates in one of our fulfillment centers, sort centers, or delivery stations. This full-time role focuses on mentoring, safety, and performance on the production floor.

You will guide 50-100 direct reports, work in a dynamic warehouse environment, and receive extensive training to become an effective people leader. Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026.
• All degree requirements must be met before the first day.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
• Willing to regularly work shifts including nights, weekends, holidays
• Oversee truck deliveries, sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment
• Climb and descend stairs as applicable
