Amazon.com Services LLC in Bloomington, CA seeks a Sr. Operations Manager to oversee budget, people development and objectives at the Fulfillment Center.

You will manage a team of Operations and Area Managers, mentor leaders and drive results while maintaining strong employee relations. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, process improvement using Lean methods, and close coordination with support functions to secure resources for initiatives across the FC.

Qualifications

• 7+ years direct management experience in manufacturing, production or distribution.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
• Flexible hours including overnight, weekends and holidays.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations or related field; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and implementation of quality improvement and Lean initiatives to boost efficiency.
• Oversees performance of Inbound or Outbound operations including safety and customer experience.
• Sets expectations for Operations and Area Managers and measures performance.
• Leverages staff to create improvement plans and share best practices across departments.
• Collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers for resources.
