Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Senior Operations Manager to oversee budget, people development, and operational objectives at the site. You will coach and mentor a team of Operations and Area Managers and drive Lean initiatives to improve efficiency and customer experience.

Responsibilities include leading quality improvements, ensuring safety and performance, and sharing best practices across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• 7+ years direct management experience in manufacturing, production or distribution.
• Experience with performance metrics and Lean techniques.
• MBA or engineering/operations background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of quality initiatives and Lean changes.
• Oversee safety, quality and customer experience for Inbound or Outbound.
• Set expectations for Operations and Area Managers and measure performance.
• Source ideas from managers and create improvement plans.
• Share best practices across departments and shifts, network-wide.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT to secure resources.
