Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager for its Fulfillment Center. The role leads a team of Operations and Area Managers, driving Lean initiatives and high-performance culture to meet budget, talent development, and operational objectives.

You will collaborate across HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers to secure resources and implement improvement plans, while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction in fast-paced distribution environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years Amazon experience.
7+ years direct management experience in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment.
Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and termination.

Responsibilities

Drives creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and Lean initiatives to meet the FC business plan.
Responsible for safety, quality and performance and customer experience of inbound or outbound operations.
Sets and clarifies requirements for Operations and Area Managers and measures performance; holds managers accountable.
