Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to lead budget, people development, and FC objectives. You will oversee a team of Operations and Area Managers, coach staff, and build leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Experience leading large teams and operations in fulfillment centers is preferred.
Strong focus on safety, quality and performance, and customer experience.

Responsibilities

Drives creation of quality initiatives and Lean initiatives to meet the business plan.
Responsible for safety, quality, performance and customer experience of Inbound or Outbound operations.
Sets and clarifies requirements for Operations and Area Managers, measures performance and provides feedback.
Leverages teams to develop improvement plans and share best practices across departments.
Collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and Sr. Operations Managers for resources and support.
Walks the FC with daily activity, ensuring adherence to safety and productivity standards.
