Job summary

TikTok is seeking a highly technical and strategic leader to drive the next generation of fulfillment automation for its U.S.-based, cross-border logistics operations. You will own the automation roadmap from manual workflows to fully automated sortation, picking, packing, and VAS, delivering double-digit productivity gains while reducing cost per order.

You will lead capital projects, partner with real estate and operations, and mentor teams on lean tools and advanced WMS/simulation approaches.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, or related field. MBA or Master’s preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years in warehouse automation, process engineering, or operational excellence for high-volume B2C fulfillment.
• Automation track record: hands-on leadership in 2+ major deployments (AMR/AGV, AutoStore, sorters, etc.).
• Lean/Six Sigma: Black Belt or equivalent with measurable impact.
• Data & systems: advanced WMS, data analytics, and simulation modeling proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design a 3-year automation master plan for 200K–1M+ sq ft facilities including ASRS, AMR/AGV, G2P, robotics, and high-speed sorters.
• Lead end-to-end capital projects with ROI modeling, vendor selection, site layout, installation, commissioning, and hypercare.
• Partner with real estate and ops to integrate automation into new sites and retrofits.
• Map and re-engineer all B2C workflows, implement lean methods, and reduce waste across labor processes.
• Establish LMS with engineered standards; drive KPIs like UPH, OTS, and CPO to best-in-class levels.
