Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell products in electric lift trucks. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and field retrofits at a designated location. You will report breakdowns, manage parts, and maintain service logs while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong electrical/mechanical skills, a valid driver license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Travel to customer sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three or more years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet at a location.
• Field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• On-call and emergency support service to customers as required.
• Purchasing tools, equipment, and parts for customer service and support as required.
• Travel as required for business needs.
