Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to service fuel cells in electric lift trucks at a Las Vegas site. The role requires diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and reporting breakdown events. Strong communication and safety focus are essential.

The technician will carry out field retrofits, software/hardware upgrades, and provide on-call support. Travel may be required; you must be able to lift 50 pounds and operate a company-provided set of fuel cell tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three or more years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and evaluate to maintain fleet at a location.
• Perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support as required.
• Purchase tools, equipment, and parts for service and support.
