Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell products in electric lift trucks at a specific location, performing preventive maintenance and resolving breakdowns.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, field retrofits, and on-site service with strong communication and safety practices. The role requires a high school diploma with electrical coursework, 3+ years of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma with technical electrical coursework.
• 3+ years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Lift truck operation knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and evaluate fleet performance at a location.
• Perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support to customers as required.
• Travel as needed for business requirements.
