Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician for Walmart in Greenfield, IN. The role supports fuel cell products in electric lift trucks, performing preventive maintenance and resolving breakdowns at a customer site.

The technician will install and service fuel cells, report breakdown events, order parts, and maintain site documentation. Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three (3) or more years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Must possess a valid driver license, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Knowledge of lift truck operation and applications is highly preferred.
• Computer and software systems skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet at a location.
• Specialized service procedures, including field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades.
• Provide on-call and emergency support as required.
• Travel as required for business needs; drive safely and follow traffic laws.
