Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell systems at Walmart in Greenfield, IN. This on-site role involves preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and servicing of fuel cells in electric lift trucks, with a focus on safety and customer service.

You will perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades, manage parts orders, and provide on-call support. The position requires a high school diploma with electrical coursework and 3+ years of troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three or more years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and evaluate the fleet at a specific location.
• Perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support to customers as required.
• Purchasing tools, equipment, and parts for customer service and support.
• Travel as required for business needs and report field activities.
