Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell systems in Walmart at MacClenny, FL. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of fuel cells in customer sites, with on-site installation and reporting of breakdown events.

Strong technical, communication, and multitasking skills are required. The position requires a valid driver license, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three (3) or more years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Must possess a valid driver license, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet at a location.
• Field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support to customers as required.
• Travel as required for business needs; drive safely and follow traffic laws.
