Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Field Service Technician to support our fuel cell products installed in electric lift trucks, performing preventative maintenance and resolving breakdowns at a customer site. You will be responsible for installation and servicing of fuel cells, reporting breakdown events, parts ordering, and maintaining fuel cell systems.

This role involves significant interaction with customer personnel and operators and requires excellent technical, communication, and motivational

Qualifications

• High school diploma with technical electrical coursework.
• 3+ years mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Experience with lift trucks preferred.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fleet maintenance at a location.
• Perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades.
• Provide on-call and emergency support.
• Procure tools, equipment, and parts for service.
• Complete incident reports, service logs, and site docs.
• Adhere to safety procedures in the field.
• Travel as required for business needs.
