Job summary

Plug Power Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell systems installed in electric lift trucks. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair breakdowns, and install/upgrade fuel cell hardware and software at the customer site.

Strong technical, communication, and safety skills are essential for on-site success. Responsibilities include purchasing parts/tools, reporting issues, and coordinating with regional service representatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three (3) or more years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet at a specific location.
• Perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support to customers as required.
