Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell products installed in electric lift trucks. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and resolve breakdowns, and install/maintain fuel cells at customer sites. Strong technical, communication, and safety skills are required.

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma and technical electrical coursework
Three or more years direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Experience with field service is a plus
Must possess a valid driver license and safe driving record
Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Responsibilities

Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet.
Field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
On-call and emergency support for customers as required
Purchasing tools, equipment, and parts for customer service and support.
