Priority Management is seeking a dedicated CNA Medication Aide at Brookhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carrollton, TX. The role includes verifying resident identities, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and documenting care per physician orders.

You will ensure patient safety and compassionate care in a fast-paced facility. Requirements include current CNA and Medication Aide certifications in good standing; prior long-term care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid CNA certification in good standing.
• Must have current Medication Aide certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage and time of administration on specified forms or records.
• Presents medication to resident and observes ingestion or other application or administers medication using specified procedures.
• Takes vital signs or observes residents to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
• Takes and records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates and food and fluid intake and output as directed.
• Answers signal lights, bells or intercom system to determine resident needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
