Job summary

Priority Management Group, LLC is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Medication Aide certification to join our care team at Ridgecrest Retirement and Healthcare Community in Waco, Texas. You will provide direct resident care, verify medications, and monitor vital signs in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

This role emphasizes safety and accuracy, with responsibilities including administering medications, recording assessments, responding to resident needs,

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid CNA certification in good standing.
• Must have current Medication Aide certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage and time of administration on specified forms or records.
• Presents medication to resident and observes ingestion or other application or administers medication using specified procedures.
• Takes vital signs or observes residents to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
• Takes and records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates and food and fluid intake and output as directed.
• Answers signal lights, bells or intercom system to determine resident needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
