Brookhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton, Texas, is seeking a dedicated Nursing Aide (CNA) with an active Medication Aide certification to provide compassionate resident care. You will verify meds, observe administration, monitor vitals, and document health data while responding promptly to resident needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid CNA certification in good standing.
• Must have current Medication Aide certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Verify identity of resident receiving medication and record drug name, dosage, and time of administration on forms.
• Present medication to resident and observe ingestion or administer using procedures.
• Take vital signs and monitor resident response to medications; report any unusual reactions.
• Record temperatures, BP, pulse, and respiration; monitor intake and output as directed.
• Respond to resident needs communicated via signals or intercom.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
