Job summary

Priority Management Group, LLC in Waco, TX is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with an active CNA license and a current Medication Aide certification to join our caregiving team at Ridgecrest Retirement and Healthcare Community.

In this on-site role you will verify resident identities, administer medications per procedures, monitor vital signs, respond to needs, and document care while participating in a supportive team focused on patient dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid CNA certification in good standing.
• Must have current Medication Aide certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage and time of administration on specified forms or records.
• Presents medication to resident and observes ingestion or other application or administers medication using specified procedures.
• Takes vital signs or observes residents to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
• Takes and records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates and food and fluid intake and output as directed.
• Answers signal lights, bells or intercom system to determine resident needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
