Job summary

Legacy at Town Creek in Palestine, TX is seeking motivated CNAs and Medication Aides to join our care team. The position offers day shifts with 12-hour schedules (7a-7p) and every other weekend off, with a shift bonus for extra shifts.

Responsibilities include verifying resident identities, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining accurate records. We provide comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, life and disability insurance, and Tuition

Qualifications

• Must have current Texas CNA certification in good standing.
• Must have current Texas Medication Aide certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name, dosage and time of administration on records.
• Presents medication to resident and observes ingestion or administers medication using procedures.
• Takes vital signs or observes residents to detect response to medications and prepares reports of reactions.
• Takes and records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates and intake/output as directed.
• Responds to signal lights, bells or intercom to determine resident needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Takes and records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates and food and fluid intake and output as directed.
• Answers signal lights, bells or intercom system to determine resident needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
