Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to enhance store security while delivering excellent customer service.

You will monitor entrances, greet customers, and report suspicious activity to a Manager on Duty, supporting loss prevention and shortage reduction programs. The role requires a vigilant, energetic presence, ability to stand/walk for long periods, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection or Loss Prevention.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and exits to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet customers with a confident, friendly, energetic presence.
• Identify and report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty.
• Provide training on shortage reduction programs.
• Maintain professional appearance and follow safety standards.
• Collaborate with store leadership to uphold security procedures.
