Burlington Stores is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service.

You will monitor store entrances, greet customers, and partner with leadership to identify and report theft or suspicious activity.

This part-time role requires flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays) and a professional appearance consistent with our dress standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or protection roles.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Strong communication with customers and coworkers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet customers with a confident, friendly, and energetic manner.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Maintain professional appearance and follow dress standards.
