Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help create a safe shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service. You will monitor entrances, greet customers, and support loss prevention programs.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, effective communication, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Competitive hourly wage and associates perks are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection or Loss Prevention preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and follow safety procedures.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet every customer entering or exiting with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Conduct bag and package checks when required and in accordance with policy.
• Identify and report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty promptly.
• Support training of associates on shortage reduction programs.
