Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. seeks a Shortage Control Associate to maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service. You will monitor entrances, greet customers with energy, and support theft-prevention programs under the Manager on Duty.

The role requires strong observation, reliability, and the ability to stand for long periods. Part-time scheduling includes nights, weekends, and holidays; associates receive a discount and access to benefits for eligible hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to visually monitor store environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrance/exit and high-risk areas to deter theft and ensure safety.
• Greet customers with a warm and energetic welcome and assist as needed.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Assist in enforcing safety and security standards and reinforce store procedures.
