Job summary

Burlington Stores in Spring Valley seeks a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with detailed focus and disciplined decision making.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances/exits and high-risk areas to reduce opportunities for theft.
• Identify and report theft incidents and suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Greet every customer with a confident, friendly, energetic greeting and promote a sense of control and security.
• Provide support in training associates on shortage reduction programs.
• Partner with store leadership to maintain safety standards and asset protection.
