Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a part-time Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure shopping environment while delivering top-notch customer service.

You will stay stationed at the store entrance, greet customers with energy, and monitor for potential theft, assisting in training associates on shortage reduction programs. Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to visually monitor store environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with detailed focus and disciplined decision making.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the entrance and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet every customer entering or exiting with a warm, loud, friendly greeting.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious subjects to the Manager on Duty.
• Conduct bag and package checks on store and corporate associates, ensuring safety standards.
• Assist in training associates on shortage reduction programs and processes.
