Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure, customer-friendly shopping environment. You will monitor entrances, exits, and high-risk areas, greet customers with a warm, confident smile, and support theft-reduction programs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor store environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrance and exit points and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Identify and report theft incidents and suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Greet customers with a confident, friendly, and energetic attitude.
• Support shortage reduction programs and training for associates.
