Burlington Stores, Inc. is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service.

You will monitor entrances and high-risk areas with confidence, greet customers with a friendly, energetic demeanor, and support shortage-reduction programs. This part-time role includes evening and weekend shifts, a competitive starting wage of $17.00 per hour, and benefits for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service, hospitality, retail, asset protection, loss prevention, or operations experience.
• Strong communication and a positive, energetic greeting style.
• Ability to stand, walk, and monitor store environments for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-risk zones to deter theft.
• Greet customers with a warm, friendly, and confident welcome.
• Identify suspicious activity and report to the Manager on Duty.
• Assist in shortage reduction programs and train teammates as needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and follow safety procedures.
